About hippychick0804

hippychick0804 started this conversation

I have been a type one diabetic since the age of 11. About four years ago at the age of 16, i was diagnosed with a cranialfaringioma brain tumor. They operated and down in UCLA and for about a year i was healthy. I started to get headaches again and after a number of MRI's the tumor returned three times the size. About 2 weeks ago I went through another endonasal surgery to remove the tumor. Once again they couldn't get all of it so it will begin to grow in the future. My doctor is confident in radiation and that it will finally kill my tumor. The medical bills are growing and growing and working part time is not enough to cover the medical bills. If you know of a grant that would aid me in my struggle please let me know.

thank you

I don't know of such a grant, but if there are any medical schools close enough, they are likely to let you volunteer for free medical care from their students.
